Mr. C Beverly Hills: California Luxury Minute Resorts

Beverly Hills oozes opulence but when you breeze through the double doors at one of this city’s most exclusive hotels, a whole new level of luxury awaits. A concierge in a spotless white suit takes your name. A waiter slips you a complimentary Bellini. You sink into a leather couch under the glow of hand-blown Murano chandeliers. Welcome to Mr. C Beverly Hills. You have arrived.

The “C” here stands for Cipriani, the family that founded Harry’s Bar in Venice in 1931 and has since expanded into a global luxury brand. At Mr. C Beverly Hills, Old World Italian elegance meets California chic in a richly decorated resort that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The gardens feature both European roses and West Coast palms, while the Lobby Lounge Bar is decorated with a stately grand piano and one-of-a-kind pool table made entirely of glass. Every guest room is well appointed with Chesterfield furniture and the bathrooms feature Carrara marble, sunken tubs, and a separate shower.

While it might be tempting to spend all day sipping espresso and Prosecco from your private balcony, you won’t want to miss the 4,500 square-foot pool area. Reserve a fully furnished cabana with 42-inch HDTV, privacy shades, and freshly pressed juice. If you’re feeling peckish, nosh on a cheese plate or beef carpaccio, a dish invented in 1950 by Giuseppe Cipriani himself.

If you’d like to venture out, simply request a ride in one of the smart house cars that will take you anywhere within a three-mile radius. Guests with bambinos will be outfitted with a complimentary Chicco stroller for exploring the city. For autophiles who’d prefer to grab the wheel, book the Lamborghini Huracan or Mustang GT package.

A short distance from the Sunset Strip, The Grove, and Rodeo Drive, Mr. C is surrounded by trendy hotspots. The Restaurant at Mr. C, however, makes an exceptional argument for staying close to home… because you live here now, right? Classic Venetian dishes—think grilled branzino, prosciutto with melon, and burrata pizza—are served in the intimate dining room.
